Your donation to the Families in Transition Program will truly make a difference in the life of a homeless child. If you make a donation by check or money order 100% of your donation will help our students with their basic living and educational needs like clothing, hygiene products, food, medical needs, school supplies, and housing.

Families in Transition is an authorized program of The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools. The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization. All contributions must be made payable to The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools with mention to the FIT program in correspondence. Contributions to the Families in Transition Fund are deductible to the extent provided by IRS Regulations, however donors should confirm the status of their donation with their own tax advisor.

 

Please note that 3.5% of all Payschools donations go to credit card processing fees. If possible, please send donations in the form of check or money order as we are unable to accept cash due to our internal audititing processes.

Other Ways to Donate

Everyone can get involved. We need drives for food, new clothing, socks and underwear, hygiene supplies, gift cards for stores like Target, Publix, Payless and Walmart, can openers, and holiday gifts, as well as in-kind donations of services.
